I wasted a good day of local soaring by trying to go XC. After an hour, I was on the ground while Belelrby soared for 3h10 or so. A long tow back...thanks for the pickup Steve! My first foot launch aero-tow. I was surprised how easy it was. Start: 10:09

A wonderful goodbye flight, dedicated to Mrs. K. I went down for her funeral, and had a lovely evening sendoff 1.5h flight with a short video goodbye and before landing experienced an amazing mystical shaft of sun phenomenon. Just before dark, a tiny hole formed in the entirely overcast sky to the west. Start: 09:32
