If you weren't there today you missed the best day I've seen at the field this year. I guess that's not saying much as I've only been out a few times but it was good enough to stay up for almost 4 hr. Lift varied from light to 1000 up (once). Topped out at 4400'. Had my share of luck with a couple of 500' low saves from the field north of the hanger. Bob, Don, Milko, Terry, Troy, and Steve had some good flights also. Hopefully they will post their stories.

Rocton flight that day

Check out this flight out of SOSA/Rocton that same day. I've been looking at some 'XC' flights that the pilots out of York do and mostly it's just a cats-craddle flight staying close to home but this guy's flight took a long way out and back...and then up to York and back.

I wish I had that performance.

Rockton flight

I don'y see a link to that flight.

Thanks for posting my flight. I edited the soaring score to 8 as the lift was inconsistent, could have gone higher and there were no clouds.
