Sunday flying
Well if I've learned anything this year it's you've got to be at the window of opportunity when it presents itself. Good on Gilles for getting 3hrs the other day.
Steve Y, Peter and myself I know will be out for sure. We've got one lady coming for a tandem this afternoon as a birthday gift arranged from Oz. Cake and champagne, even more to miss out on if you don't come out. If on the ground though you might be asked to sing Happy Birthday. The lady celebrating the birthday is doing her 2nd skydive this morning. She wasn't expecting to be doing the hang flight on the same day but with rain delays and wind delays here we are.
Not going to get showed up by a girl are you ;)

Okay so I eat my words :)
I've eaten my words before and expect I shall eat my words again some day.
Steve Y called me from the field around 10am asking me to check the forecast for winds. Told me that at 1500 agl the tug was practically flying backwards.
I checked with Steve B who was able to give us a quick hour by hour synopsis. The winds are not expected to decrease through the day but instead increase.
Grounded again.
