"During the summer, three WTM aeronautical studies have been submitted to Transport Canada for review:
Review of Control Zones at Hamilton, Kitchener/Waterloo, Oshawa,
- Toronto/Buttonville, Toronto/City Centre and Toronto/ Downsview Airports
- Class F Airspace
- Southern Ontario Controlled Airspace
A VFR routes system (not subject to aeronautical study) has been developed. Related changes to publications along with a new VTA for Toronto will be seen during the winter of 2009.
The initial Toronto ACC design workgroup meeting is scheduled for 22 September 2008. The activity could not start earlier due to the implementation of CAATS. As the design progresses, the project management team will coordinate communication between controllers and customers.
