The scooter has landed...

A HUGE thanks to Ken. He took time out of his work day today to drive with me out to Concord with his van to pickup a scooter! It's a beauty! ;) A 1985 Honda 250cc...just what we were after.

It was a bit more expensive than we thought we could get one for but this one is/was road worthy...until we got it home anyways. Not only did Ken get it with me, he was chomping at the bit more than I was to get at the mods. I thought I'd at least have a day of riding it around my street before we trash it but NO! Ken offered to help get the rear wheel off so we could mod the drum onto it pronto...so we spent another hour or so ripping the back end apart.

I'm getting the drum done tomorrow (hopefully) and start spec'ing out the trailer. Spectra line is lined up. And I should have the Condor in a couple weeks (and we have the Falcon 195 on hand to tow members).

Who wants to be the guinea pig?!

...and we need a name for this thing....any ideas?

Congratulations and much

Congratulations and much thanks Mark and Ken for taking these 'such' significant steps.

Tranquility Base

What're you guys doing tomorrow, putting up the hangar?

:) I didn't see any

:) I didn't see any discussion tonight on the hangar....maybe we'll all be scooter towing before we are aero-towing...
